*Do NOT TRY OR FALL UNDER THE TRAP OF DONATION BASED SEATS IN MANAGEMENT QUOTA in any medical college across India. NO college will be able to take seats via donation after NEET has come into effect. Anyone who promise you to get such donation based admission is just fooling you. If you have not been able to get into any college this year, please prepare hard and try again next year or look at alternate career options.
---------
There is a HUGE confusion created by NEET this year. The marks card shows two things:
  1. Whether you have qualified NEET exam or not
  2. Whether you are eligible to sit for NEET centralised counselling process or not
Under General category any student who has scored above 145 marks in NEET has qualified. Now there is no meaning of BEING QUALIFIED. There is no clarity for what a student has qualified for. But what we understand is that this qualification may mean that you will be eligible to sit for State govt. counselling process (It does not necessarily mean that you will be selected for a state govt. medical college seat)
But the value is only if your marks card states that you are eligible to sit for NEET centralised counselling process. As per my understanding, the cut-off under General category is 487 marks (We are still not very sure but this is approx. estimation) for students to be eligible to sit for NEET centralised counselling process.
