1. Functions : In mathematics, a function is a relation between a set of inputs and a set of permissible outputs with the property that each input is related to 'exactly' one output .      

      Represented as 

 Means y is a function of x .

                               

                       

Domain: set of values of x which we can put in our function.

Range: set of values which we can get as an out put from our function here it is 'y' if we say " y=f(x).

Example.: y= ax+b ,y=2x-7,y=sin(x),y=cos(x) etc.
